We only have 17 more days until The Music Boat 2009! All we can can eat food! No work! Amazing concerts! It will be here before we know it. Besides all that we have a fun-filled day in Nassau. On Wednesday, May 6 we will be in Nassau from 7:00 AM until 11:59 PM. There are a ton of excursions (things-to-do) available for us to fill up our day. I have gotten numerous questions about the excursions so I thought I would write about it. Hey, this blog is all for you!

How to book excursions!

There are only 23 days left before we all ship off on the Music Boat to the Bahamas! I bet you all are ready for the break as much as I am. I do have something to confess. I recently won a contest and had the chance to go on a cruise a few weeks ago. That is why you haven't heard from me in a bit. So now I cannot say that The Music Boat will be my first cruise. I am broke in and ready to go. All I have to say is that "cruises are awesome"! It was one of the most amazing times I have ever had. I am really looking forward to hanging out on the Music Boat with you all. Here are a few important things I learned from my recent cruise that might help you make the most of your Music Boat experience:

This is something I have personally been asking myself. My friend who has been on several cruises said no way because the ship is so big it doesn't even seem like you are moving. But getting seasick still worries me. When I was much younger I went deep sea fishing on a smaller vessel and got extremely sick. So I started doing some research to help myself and provide you all with some information.

From what I hear most people don't get sick on big vessels like The Music Boat because they don't move around as much. But there are several preventative things we can do ahead of time to keep from getting sick.

1. Pick up a preventative such as the following:

Wow, this last blog featuring Noah from Pillar was extremely popular. Now I know what you all really want to see- Sponge Bob guitars! Or maybe its exclusive interviews with your favorite rockers?

Hello everybody. Sorry I have been MIA recently. February ended up being a busy month. I've been touring all over the country with my band Stars Go Dim. But, I did have a chance to sit down with my old buddy Noah Henson from Pillar who will be performing on The Music Boat. Watch him jam on his signature Sponge Bob guitar and hear about the new upcoming Pillar record. I am also going to do a little contest here. All you have to do is comment. I am randomly going to pick two people to win Pillar CD's. Peace, Michael

As promised here is the interview with my friend Will McGinnis of Audio Adrenaline and the new Audio Talks. Audio Adrenaline won two Grammy awards, multiple Dove awards, sold over 3 million albums, and had 18 number singles. Will and Mark Stuart were the ones who gave me and Pillar a shot by signing us to their record label Flicker Records about 10 years ago. You can hear the audio of Will answering these questions by clicking play below!

Hello everybody. I hope your week has started great. I am out on tour right now with my band Stars Go Dim and stuck in Kansas City because of ice. I hope you are doing better. I know I promised a interview with Will from Audio Adrenaline for my next blog, BUT I wanted to get to your questions from the last week or so first.

Question: P.D. asks- "Would you do a free concert in a small town to help out a ministry? Why/why not"

Answer: It would totally depend on the situation, location, and date. Most artists, myself included, love to use our gifts to help others. There is a lot that goes into performances though and artists have lots of expenses just to get on the road.

Hello everybody! I hope you've been having an awesome week so far! I just left home to start a Midwest tour with my band Stars Go Dim. Please pray for safe travels. As I've mentioned before The Music Boat 2009 will be my first cruise. So where are we all going again...CocoCay and Nassau in the Bahamas? Like me, some of you may have no idea where that is so I did a little research to educate us all.
